I am a divorced mom of two boys who started listening to you shortly after my husband left. You are responsible for the backbone I grew and my ability to be my kids' mom, not their friend.
One time when the boys were still small, we were sitting in a restaurant when the comment card caught my son's eye. "What does that say?” he asked. "It's a number you can call to leave your comments", I replied. "What is the number?” he asked. As I started reading 1-800, he excitedly interrupted saying "I know what it is! It's 1-800-DrLaura."
