The Importance of Goal Setting

While listening to your opening today about motivation, I just wanted to share how I try to keep myself on track. 

  • I sit and think of what goals or goal I can accomplish that day. 

  • Then I get up, make my bed and tidy up my room. 

  • I brush my hair, shower, put on makeup, then an outfit. 

  • I make time to have something to eat and away I go.

Make life purposeful! Whether you choose to help a friend, donate old clothes, or even volunteer, it makes a difference. Always have a goal for the day and try your best to accomplish it, no matter how small. It will give you a sense of purpose and accomplishment once your goal is complete.

Do not dwell on the negative in life. Remember, just like good times do not last forever, neither do hard times, we can overcome them.
