The 'D' Word
01/21/2015

Dear Dr. Laura,

I just want to drop you a line to thank you for what you do. My husband died 4 years ago and for a long time, I also dreaded using the "d" word.  I heard the call that you took from a woman who dreaded using that word for her daughter; and it was an eye-opening moment for me. Thank you for providing the understanding behind that word. Your words comforted me during those times. I just discovered you, less than 6 months after the incident happened, and I don't know how many times I read and re-read the snippet that you have in the Dr. Laura app - Moral Compass about death.

I hope that you have a Dr. Laura of your own to help you through rough times. We have a now-15-year old daughter and you have been helping me raise her for the past 4 years. I'm a loyal podcast listener and I hang on to every word of wisdom that you give your callers. Thank you.

love,
Hillary
