Never Again
09/09/2016

When I was a kid, my brother and I threw an egg at a lady's house. We figured she was mean since she never liked us playing football on the grass at church. Our church was across the street from her home.

She knew we threw the egg. There was no hiding it. She did what any adult would do and she complain to our parents about it. As a kid, I thought she deserved the egg we threw. Well, my dad thought otherwise.

I'll never forget, some 40 years later, that horrible feeling I had my brother and I knocked on the lady's door to apologize. My dad standing sternly at the end of her driveway, where he could hear everything happening.

Needless to say, we never did that again!
