How I Survive Life's Curve Balls
05/26/2016

In the past two years my husband of 20 years left me after an affair with his high school honey.

How do I survive? Through the grace of God, good friends and a lot of water therapy. I am going into retirement on the water. I have three wonderful boats (including my father's boat) and can't wait to enjoy them.

Words of wisdom from friends are my mantras. "I choose to be happy" and "love never dies" are my favorites. That time that I spend with my family and friends is all the more precious. I choose to look forward and rejoice in the freedoms that I have; living in this great country and the new life I am make for myself.

I leave for my maiden voyage in the next couple of weeks. I am planning on getting my captains license soon.

Not bad, huh?
