Dr. Laura:
I am especially grateful that you are such an exceptional advocate for children, specifically those who are not asking to be part of a divorced family. I had to deal with that growing up, and I wish my parents had listened to you before they got pregnant and subsequently married and divorced too young. Too many people are screwing up their kids' lives!
Also, thank you for your service to veterans and their families. I am a 21 year veteran of the Army and the Army National Guard. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 and it was really hard on me and my family. I'm very happy to be retired now and staying home full-time. My husband is also a 20 year Army veteran and retired Special Forces Green Beret. We know all about sacrifices, and we know how wonderful you are in so many ways. Keep up the good work!
