I happened to put on Toy Story 3 for my children. I heard Woody say this line, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had to rewind it, to hear it again. Woody says, "Day care is a sad, lonely place for washed up old toys who have no owners." Wow. Replace "toys" for children, and what does it say? "Day care is a sad, lonely place for washed up old children who have no parents." How sad.
