I discovered that sweets and lots of carbs made me binge eat, so I stopped eating those foods. To get me to enjoy a piece of fruit after a meal and think I wasn't depriving myself of sweets, I bought a small glass bowl with gold trim and design on it. I then cut up the fruit and put it into the bowl. I reminded myself how special it was to eat this fruit out of such a special bowl. It took about a year before I convinced myself this statement was true, but now I no longer need the special bowl.
I went from 178 pounds to 132.5 pounds.
