I Chose Wisely And Will Always Treat Kindly


Dr. Laura:

I met my husband at work, when I was 24 and he was 32.  I had a major crush on him for a few months before he asked me out and we began dating.  Whenever I've been asked how I knew he was "the one," or what made me fall in love with him, I have always answered that it was because of his commitment to seeing me and taking me out.

Every time I came home from a date with him, I would receive a text message telling me that he had a great time with me, and asking when we could go out again.  All of our dates were planned within 24 hours of the previous date.  I never had to spend a minute wondering how much he liked me, or how much he wanted to spend time with and get to know me.  

I didn't listen to your program back then as religiously as I do now, but I realize in retrospect that I chose wisely and will always treat kindly.
