I heard a call from a mother regarding how to say no to her 11-year-old, regarding being on social media. My husband and I are 59. We've been married for 41 years and are the parents of two wonderful adults, aged 40 and 38. When they were teens and wanted permission for something and used the line, "Everybody else's parents ...", my husband's stock response was, "Do they adopt?" End of conversation!
